Of rivers and lost lands
Sarker Protick
-these pictures are amazing. I love how they are light and airy almost. It's like the subject in the photo is sitting on a cloud and I am getting just a peak of what heaven looks like.
-So this article doesn't have much to say about the artist or her collection and what it means to her. But the photographs are stunning.
- I find that the site doesn't give any information very difficult to get the full affect of what the pictures really mean. I feel like it takes away part of the picture itself.

Ori Gersht
http://www.mummeryschnelle.com/pages/gersht.htm
- this article first drew me in with the picture posted in the initial blog. It looked like flowers colored in red, white, and blue being hit by dynamite. It was beautiful in a sorta chaotic way.
- Gersht works with many different types of traumatic situations and uses them to push the boundaries of digital media.
- I am curious to know what his reaction to the message he sends out through his work. I wonder if he wasn't the one doing the work how it would effect him and his emotions.

Jo Ractliffe
As Terras do Fim do Mundo
- It was more the picture drew me in. I liked the star in the photo. It kinda shows that there was something important that happened on that land.
- the article states that jo revisited many war sites after many years with old war veterans to see how the history effects the present.
- I was curious about how the site effected the veterans and the emotions they portrayed at the site and if the artist decided to capture those emotions as well as the site where history was made.

Every installation needs a shoe
By HOLLAND COTTER
http://mobile.nytimes.com/2015/03/01/arts/design/every-installation-needs-a-shoe.html
The title of the article drew me in. I am obsessed with shoes and I thought that it was going to be like a article on how installation people wear shoes or what type they wear.
The article was about a man named Paul Chan bringing entertainment to unfortunate people in horrible situations.
I like this article because I like knowing that there are kind hearted people who try to look on the bright side and bring some light to others who need it.
